I have had this for a while and I was wondering if any one can tell me what this is. It is 4 inches long and has threads inside one side is clock wise and the other is counter clock wise Thanks

If one side is threaded clockwise and the other counter-clockwise...by definition it must be some sort of "turnbuckle"...serving to either increase the length of a linkage or to reduce the length of a linkage.

Though by the looks of it you could use it for a heater hose splice! Ha ha!

Ya Billy yu could if your heater hose was 1 inch inside dia. Where I got it from was someone was using it for the pin that holds the drawbar on a Farmall M but it has the numbers on and the IH logo so I am just curious. The threads are 5/8 11. one side right hand and the other left hand.
