IH300U heated seat

This is a great option(only for winter) but I think
there must be some hydraulic problem. I have a 300
utility tractor with power steering and fast hitch,
when using tractor for over an hour I have noticed
that the reservoir under the seat becomes hot!
Please any suggestions as to where to begin will be
greatly appreciated. Thanks for the great forum and
helpful information.

The pressure control orifice and tiny screen in the valving is probably plugged and calling for pressure against a dead end passage. The pump is getting hotter, so do not delay fixing it.
Assure that all the Single or double acting switches on the control valves are turned fully, to one end of the sheet metal clip, or the other, and that the valves are centered and not partially applied. If these are good, I would suspect the orifice. Jim
