Farmall 140 leaking oil

I have a fairly nice 140, runs really smooth, plenty of power, and does not smoke, but I discovered an oil leak today. Oil slowly drips from the clutch handhole cover (maybe 4 drops per hour) while the tractor is off. I do not know if it leaks while it runs. From the information I have gathered, I may need to split the tractor and replace input shaft seal. Does anyone know if there are any other possible causes for this other than a bad seal?
All replies are appreciated, SF

Oil leaking from the front of the clutch housing would most likely be the rear main seal on the engine. A common problem.
A leak at the transmission input shaft would be at the rear of the clutch housing.

How do I change the rear main seal and can I do it without splitting the tractor? Also, is there any other possibility as to what is causing this? I don't want to get into a big ordeal if possible. By the way, is this even a problem to worry about? I would love to get it fixed, but I'm not restoring the tractor or anything, so a little oil leaking every once in a while is no big deal.
Thank you for your help, SF

like k-mo said, either the rear main or the input seal on the trans. run it and keep an eye on the engine oil and see if the level goes down much, that would be an indicator of the rear main leaking. doesnt sound like its leaking too bad yet, you can run it as is, just keep an eye on it, and put a bucket under the tractor when you park it to see how much you are loosing.

You will have to split the tractor, should be easy to do. You could try some of that stuff you add to your oil that makes the seals swell up and seal. Ive never used it but I heard it works.

Thank y'all for your help. I thought about using some stop-leak too, but I heard that, although it will temporarily fix the leak, it will deteriorate all the gaskets and seals over time.

I am not noticing any "side effects" of this leak, the tractor has power to pull a 2-14 plow in 2nd, and the clutch is tight and not slipping, so I may not worry about this leak too much. I know someone mentioned this was a common problem. Do many Farmalls/Internationals leak, too?
Just wondering, SF
