Loss of front hydraulics

Parked my 450 gas tractor after doing a little work with it, started it up the next day and have no frontend loader hydraulics now. 3 point is still working fine. When I go to raise the loader it just loads up the engine ? Maybe something in the line causing a blockage ?

Do you have your loader running though a spool valve? If so you could have a stuck spring or blockage in there. First thing would be to put a test gague up to the valve and see what you have there.

Couplers that appear to be socketed in all the way but are not often cause this effect. If it is up in the air, be careful when working around it to avoid joining the statistics of farm accidents. Jim

Update: Well got my tractor fixed finally ) Ended uo being a passage plug that had dislodged and migrated up until it blocked fluid flow. After buying a .10 cent o-ring, All working good again now . thanks for the advice )
