Farmall H 44 rims and tires

I've seen several sets on H's, and A deere's. They call them sand duals down here in TX. They're narrower than the 38" tires

Gene,

I don't generally go to the parts book except for specific need. I just know I have never seen or even heard of 44 inch wheels on a H in the Mississippi Delta or other areas of the deep South. I know IHC had many options and items that were not sold in the South.

Gene,

I just went to the CaseIH online parts book and still could not find a 44 inch rim listed for the Farmall H.

44 inch duals are on page 249 in my H parts book, I haven't checked the CaseIH site. I have found the site to be somewhat less than all inclusive, they may be dropping certain things.

(quoted from post at 17:27:11 03/21/11) Page 249 is in the attachments section.

It's online on page 249 as well. I don't know why you have to hate on the online version so much. I think it is a lot faster to look stuff up that way. The books need an index pretty bad.

The main problem I have with the online version is the foot notes are missing. They are necessary sometimes to determine exactly what part was used.

The only hard copy I have is a JenSales book. Maybe that is why I am a paper hater. I can't really read the pictures for crap. Never noticed any footnotes other than serial breaks in the Jensales book.

hghrdhck, As Dean below said below they are a set of Sand Duals called "Sandies" here in Texas more specifically up on the South Plains of Texas, Lubbock to Big Spring. They are after market.
I was at the Temple Texas Tractor show last Oct. there was a fellow there from Indiana,... Illinois area I think,,,,, selling tires and rims and such... a set of Sandies from them was as much as many unrestored running tractors... in the $1200 range. Hope this helps.

I certainly like the individual printed parts catalogs and I have only one from JenSales and there's leave a lot to be desired including the way they are bound. Those I've gotten from Binder Books have been very clear and have very readable print. I like the paper form as I can take them along when at a major tractor show and can see quickly if an item I find is correct or not for my needs. I usually have them in the vehicle for tractors I'm seeking items for and it's not usually very computer friendly walking around a show grounds in the vendor areas, Hal.
