I picked up a Farmall C with Fast hitch today, for the fast hitch parts and got a good look at a Farmall B450 diesel. Motor is loose and owner claims it ran fine when he parked it years ago. It looks pretty rough now as it's been stored outside all it's life. Having said that it's very complete and restorable.

What's that thing worth?

How hard are replacement parts to come by?
 
The Farmall B-450 was a very good and reliable tractor. However, some parts are hard to find, although a lot of parts are same as US M-SM. Where is it located? Value is what you want to pay.

Dean,

That is probably where it started it's working life. The Farmall B-450 was only sold in the Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana Delta areas and in Texas by IHC when new. A few International B-450's were sold in Canada but no Farmalls were sold there.

There were some new Farmall B450 diesels sold in my part of the world southern Illinois and in Charleston Mo.back in the 1960's
 
Charleston Missouri may have been in the Memphis District. The tractors sold in Illinois would have been "bootleged" by a dealer out of the Memphis or other southern district.

If you really wanted a one of a kind show tractor, you could buy the B450 and turn it into a cotton picker tractor. The flange type rear axle housings and axles from a M thru 560 will fit the B450 as will the bullgears and single front wheel and fork. The underside of the transmission top would have to be machined and drilled for the reverse forks. Flip the differential and you would then have a B450 cotton picker tractor. I have only known of one Farmall B450 being set up as a cotton picker tractor for use as a spray tractor many years ago.
