F20 Rear Wheels

I have two sets of rear wheels for an F20. One set is a set of spokes, the other set is a set of flat bar cutoffs. One wheel of each set has a rusted away area. I want to make one set of the two by cutting a section out and welding it back in. Just an opinion on which set I should save. I'm thinking the spoke set. Any tips or tricks on doing this? Thanks!

Fix the spokes, cutoffs have almost no value except scrap. I keep all the old damaged spoke wheels to use for patching up better ones.

I took a rusted out 36" round spoke, cut the center out and welded it into a 36" drop center blank rim. The only bad part is that you have to make spacers for each spoke since the original wheels are riveted and the rim is dimpled. Its not hard, you just need a good straight edge to tack the wheel up, mount it to the tractor and use a dial indicator to dial in the rim. You dont have to do that part but I hate seeing wheels wonder in and out. Have fun.

are the flat spokes with a cast hub with an extra set of mounting holes? The number you sent me is for a variable width wheel which may be worth saving.

Let's try this again. These are the flat spoke cutoffs.
