trans oil check

Where do I check and fill the trans oil on my Farmall M? Thank You

First --BUY a book!Second--There is a square headed pipe plug on the left side behind /under the clutch rod.There is a large recessed pipe plug to the right side of the gear shifter.Abook(s) will tell you all kinds of useful/nessesary information that you would not otherwise know.

You can also pop the shifter off and pour it in there. You could also use a funnel and send it in the check hole, but it would be slow.
