Does anyone on this page know where one could find an 8574-DC Cyl. Head for a farmall tractor?

DC head not as common as some others, was used in production on some industrial C-248 and C-264 gasoline engines starting around march 1955. Was also used for service or a replacement part for previous heads on M and SM gasoline tractors.
Some dozers and power units were all it was standard on.

Can an 8060 head be used in place of the 8574-DC?

8574DB, 8060DC and DD will all work about the same. If you want more compression a 362174R1 400 gasoline head is better.
