Farmall B cultivator

I have ordered the manual for the B cultivator, but I am wondering while i am waiting does anyone have a digital copy? or photos.

There were several models of cults made for the B but they all do mount the same bolting to the steering sector. It wont mount until you take that wide front off and replace the narrow regular pedestal. All of the gensing tractor i have seen still used the original B steering sector and four bolts hold the pedestal on. The B cult just wont fit with that front now on. Im not that far away you mite want to drive down and i can show you.

I need the wide front. That is why i bought it. WE grow vegetables on raised beds and i cannot have that tri wheel in my beds. I bought the cult for cheep- 40$ so i really dont want to spend time or $ with another one.

You are right it wont fit. I am hoping to bolt it using the last original bolt hole and make a heavy duty plate for the other two. I am going to lay it out to see how the lift works with it moved back 4".

Do you know how the ginseng ppl mount the cultivator?

I dont see any reason mounting it back will stop the lift from working. Which lift levers did you get the two that raise each row or the one with a short lever and a long one that lifts both sides together. I hope you didnt get the levers for the Exhaust lift as they wont work for hand lift. They can be modified for hy lift. I have a set that was used for hy lift using a Char-Lynn Power Pac that runs off the pto. I have those systems also and they work well. I see what you are doing now and it should work if you can get the frame to clear the wide front. By moving it back should work just fine mite need to cut the outside tooling bars off a little to clear the tires. I do have cult parts if you need some.

Between moving the cultivator back and the larger rear tire diameter, it will probably get pretty tight. Interference with the tires is likely. If you keep the home-made rear wheel shields it will be even tighter. You can find longer spring trips if you need them to get the cultivator to reach the ground. You will be spending more than another $40 to get something that works.

You never said that before.

Would you happen to have any pictures of the set up. I think I have an idea, but i want to see what other ppl have done. Yes I may need some parts now, but definitively in the future as we grow the operation and increase our fleet.

Only pics i have is one mounted on an A the others got lost when the comp crashed but i will be taking some when i put one on the B again.
