Fuel gauge for Farmall 460 - 1959

I'm looking for a new or working used Farmall 460 fuel gauge with sender for a gas engine. I'm restoring/fixing up an old 1959 and the existing one doesn't work. The other option would be if there is someone out there that can repair my existing one. Thanks.
 
Not seeing anything on the YT parts site, I did a goodsearch and came up with a link that wouldn't post??? But you could give these folks a call 1-877-530-4430 All States Ag Parts the part number was 108067; must have sold that particular one; maybe they have others. Any indication if it would be just the gauge? i.e. trying the gauge in another tractor, maybe that isn't an option, just a thought. Good luck.
 
Thanks for part no. That will help too in my search. I will call that number. Don't have another tractor to try it on so must assume it's not working unless there is another way to test it.
 

Have you checked with your local Case-IH dealer? You MIGHT be able to find the gauge from an aftermarket supplier, but I think the sending unit is going to need to come from Case-IH.
 
I was able to buy a new gauge from the dealer last fall for a Farmall 340 (made about 1960). The dealer had to match the gauge to the sending unit, seems there were two different types gauges and senders used for my tractor model. Gauge and sending unit have to match up. Not sure if that would be the same for your 460. Also, my tractor was converted from 6 volt positive ground to 12 negative ground and that caused a lot of problems. In the end, I couldn't solve the negative ground conversion, so I never did get the new gauge to work. If your 460 was converted to 12 volts and negative ground this might be an issue for you too.

460's were always 12V neg ground. I put a new gauge on mine and used the old sending unit -- it doesn't work either.
