Farmall H belly pump

Hello,My control rod on the belly pump just flops back and forth (very loose)with no action.I can drop the pump pretty easy and open her up.Any idea on what happened, it was working fine the other day. thanks

The bolt that holds the rod loosened on my MD once. I would check that first.

I have had the same thing happen as sflem. The bolt that holds the arm to the pump got loose.

Same here, put a wrench on the bolt and 2 minutes later I was back in action.

Yup! Tighten the bolt. I think they work loose from vibration.

Hello i just tightened the bolt on the control arm which was just a little bit loose and my belly pump works again!!! I have a new lock washer on it with the original IH bolt,should that bolt maybe have locktite on it?? thanks again!!......john
