856 Fenders and Rollbars

I have a set of fenders and I want to buy a roll bar for my 856. The roll bars have plates to bolt the fenders to, but I don't see any holes in the fenders to mount them to roll bars. The simple answer is I guess that you have to drill holes in the fenders. I just want to make sure that is the right answer before I start. Thanks for you help.

The rollbar you get through Case, if it's still the same as the one we put on the 756, well let's just say it creates a very ample vacuum. The nice pretty welds on the fender plates were really just silicone caulk over some pretty nasty spot welds. And we had to cut the deck and make another bracket to fasten the front of the fenders to the deck because they vibrated so bad. There was no way we could pull it and keep it original, as the deck would have had to be replaced. We probably shouldn't have, as it was a really nice original tractor when we did it.

You can leave your fenders mounted on their original mounts in addition to having the ROPS mounted/clamped on the rear axle housing. It does, however, require that the fender mounts be in the outside most groove on the axle housing. And of course the wheels most be set out far enough to allow for clearance.

There are so holes in the fenders unless you have the wrong fenders. The fenders are 2-piece, adjustable height.

Only the top half of the fender bolts to the ROPS. You remove the bottom part that clamps to the axle.
