I have a 560 Diesel and i wast to buy a plow for it what is the biggest plow I can pull at a decent speed I have heavy black soil with a few spots of clay. Thanks for the help

In the past around here 4-14s at 5mph in third gear.
should go well for a 60 hp tractor even in the tough spots.

I still have the 412 4-16" that came home from the dealership with my 560D. They turned plenty an acre of heavy ancient lake bottom in SE Michigan. Took a lot of weight on the tractor and of course the fuel and RPM were screwed to her FWIW...

Have had a gas from new in 1963, pulled IH 4-16 pull type plow with a drag, no problem in northern Il black soil, neighbor had a jd 730 gas no comparison.

Yeah, a lot of the 4-14's are coming from people who turned up the pumps on their 560's.

Around here a stock 560 is a 3-16 plow tractor. Turned up 560s tore the rear ends up.

My personal view on it is, this is antique equipment, take it a easy on the stuff... Run 1 less bottom than "maximum."

IMHO 3-14 or 3-16 for a stock 560.
