Super a engine rebuild

Hey guys. Thanks for all your help thus far.
Have taken motor apart completely due to pitting in one cylinder. Decided to take all sleeves out for cleaning out 50 years of crud from cooling chambers.
Sleeves and pistons look good with minor wear.
Should I mic the sleeves and pistons to determine if I should replace them all?
If so what is the acceptable range for putting back in service on 3 1/8 bore?
Really leaning to purchasing one sleeve and new rings for all pistons.

No evident wear on crank either. Already had .020 bearings on it.

Measure the bore at the very bottom where there is no piston wear, and at the top of the bore where the top compression ring stops in its travel. If more than .003" I would replace. If less, I would ridge ream the top to remove the ridge, and glaze break the cylinders with a bottle brush style hone Rapid up and down with 400 grit stone and diesel or solvent to wash away grit. Then reuse. Jim

New rings should have .010--.012" MINIMUM end gap; check at upper wear limit of the sleeve and at the bottom where there is no wear. Use a piston to position the new ring in the sleeve bore.

I would buy the new sleeve kit and have that crankshaft measured for wear at your local auto machine shop. Buy your bearings where you have the crankshaft checked. It will run another 50 years with new parts and with some maintenance. Hal
