Two-prong, small-point fast hitch...

That means Super C, 200, 230, or 240.

Price, as little as possible. Once the bottoms wear out, that's the end of the plow. There are no replacement parts available anymore.

That's where you are wrong...(not really) But you should have seen the cobbled together moldboards at the local consignement auction this past weekend. There was so much scrap steel welded to shins and shares it wasn't even funny.

Can you hard face it to make it last longer?

These days, most of those little plows are used for gardens,or just trailer/show princess.Any good welder can repair/rebuild to new condition.Dont let the scrap man get it.Someone out there wants it-bad!

The bolt pattern for frog to beam is the same on all IH bottoms. If you can't find parts for that bottom get a modern bottom and bolt it on. I have an old 90 mounted plow on my F12 with a 16" bottom off a 720 plow on it. End of parts problem.

Okay, there ARE, but not from any reliable source. You can't go to the local "Plow Part Mart" and load what you need into a shopping cart.

For ORIGINAL replacement parts, you will need to SCROUNGE. Usually, it ends up being nearly-worn-out parts from another plow.

The idea of using the bottoms off a newer plow is fine, IFF you can find them. I've been searching for months now, and found NOTHING.

Totally agree. At the auction there were blows with paper thing to worn through shares with CRAP welded to the outside of them. That was on the nicer plows!!! I couldn't believe that any of them would have scoured with the crap they had cobbled together.
I guess there is a difference between plowing and doing a good job plowing.

For what it's worth that share and moldboard look to be in pretty good shape.

Better then what I've plowed with in the past anyway!

We still have a 2-14 bottom plow much like the one in the picture. The wings had worn out so dad bought totally new plows, I think they were Super Chief with one piece points that will interchange with most modern plows. After he bought the new plows we never used it enough to wear out a single set of points. You can get new plows so parts will not be a problem.

From your pic it appears like a single one point fast hitch for later SAs and others with single one pt fast hitch.
