On my 2-- with FH, I can lock the hitch into level position or float with a strap & pin.

If you do this, does the bar to connect to front TC arm "store" firmly on the tractor somehow ?

No where to firmly store it. I usually just let it rest on top of the rear axle. Other than that, you gotta remove it.

Should be the same as our Super C was and we took it off when not using it, like disking, so it could "float", or planting or cultivating when the TC was being used for the front.

Better to remove it and leave it in the shed. That was the intent with the originals. You only need the long bar when plowing. It is not needed for any other operation that I know of.

I know it`s not needed for the grader blade, but it is nice for slight tilting of the blade.
