M front end vs. 504 front end

I have a wide front end for an M for sale some-one stopped and questioned if it would fit on his narrow front end 504. Does anyone know? Normally anything is possible but I am not sure how much modification this person is willing to take on.

Anything is possible but it would require many hours of cutting, welding, fabricating, drilling new holes, etc. To put it in a nutshell, No, it won't fit.

Anything can be made to fit with enough time, work, and money. However, without that, the M wide front end will not fit a 504.

Harold,Does that mean that an 'H'/300 front will fit a 504?

I'm not Harold, but the answer is "no."

The 504 is based off the 340, which borrows heavily from the C/Super C platform. They're pretty much the same up front, but completely different from the H/300 family.
