Hey guys!!! Enjoy all the insights ya'll bring to my trator restorations...I enjoy all the little tricks of the trade you guys post!Quick question...in a recent post someone said to use a bearing splitter (spreader?) to remove the crankshaft. Could you guys explain this to me or know a "SECRET" to removing this buzzard short of bustin' it all to he** with heat and a three finger pulley remover!!! Thanks in advance...

here is a link to some otc units. they clamp behind the pulley, and use a puller to remove the pulley. you pull from the bearing splitter instead of the flange of the crankshaft pulley
