OT - Why you shouldn't jump to empty that glass bowl

Why you shouldn't jump to help a guy out by dumping his glass air cleaner bowl out when at a show or something.

Been thinking about this a while. When I die, I want to be cremated. Then what to do with the ashes. How about put me in several of the air cleaner bowls of my Farmalls. Then I can still go to tractor shows, plowing bees, tractor rides... Wow think about that.

Until one day when some helpful sole comes along and sees all that "dirt" in the bowl and thinks he is helping the guy out by dumping it out. Whoa sssstttttoooopppp!!!!

just put a label on glass jar, "check with owner before cleaning".[ in Colorado they have a dead guy frozen in mtn town, sure everybody's seen it on -tv]. or you could be the first dead guy driving around in/on his tractor, on rfd t-v. lol

What kinda twit would think it's okay to do anything to a tractor at a show without checking with the owner?

Lotta' dumb "twits" out there big fred.
Sounds like a good idea, but ya' gotta' wonder what made you think of that, Brian???

Read about a guy who had his father's ashes in his garage after he passed. Unwittingly used them to free his car from a snowy driveway. OOPS.

OK,then follow the tradition of putting a toy tractor inside the jar, and seal the ashes into a hollow on the underside of the toy.

It's no crazier than being spread over your favorite lake or fishin' hole !

Actually has a nice ring to it. You could be Farmall Red forever !

Our local funeral home keeps those embroidered pictures for your side of the casket lid with outdoor scenes, a full-house hand, the JD green emblem, BUT NO SIMPLE IH emblem. Maybe we should either sue for equal play --- or "order ahead of time ?"

Darn it --- my 100 has the Donaldson precleaner - don't think you could fit a toy tractor in the glass bowl like you can on the Ball precleaner !

The reason I like OT's on this forum is the same reason they have cartoons in the newspaper. Everyone once in a while you enjoy a diversion "for recreational use only". :)

Yes you can!! Just need to be a bit more creative. I've got a picture somewhere.

Thats over at Nederland(around Boulder area). They even have a festival-complete with parade-dedicated to the"Frozen Dead Guy".

I got the sealing lid from a canning jar and glued it to the top of the jar before installing it. No one can dump it!
