F-14 magneto- no fire.

Got mag wet, now has no fire. Cleaned rust off of backside of magnet. where are the points located?

Points are under the round cap that the advance rod connects to. It's located below the distributor cap. There should be a flat spring that holds the cover on. Rotate the spring out of the way and pull the round cover off.

I've had mine get wet before - pulled it off, used an air hose to get out the water and it worked fine again. You may have to pull the magnet and the cover to get to all the water. If you pull the cap becareful to not loose the little carbon rods and springs.
