Farmall C pulley puller

Im making a puller from plans on the archive posts from on here. Why do they (2 different plans) call for 3/4 allthread. Im going to use it press the pulley back on and the holes your supposed to use that hold the front ballestor on are 5/8/inch. Am i missing something here.

If your bolster attachment points are 5/8" use 5/8" all thread.
Sand then clean with solvent, the snout and inside the pulley before putting it on (especially if it was bad getting it off) The pulley should be a tight press fit, but not deadly tight. I had one in a 60 ton press (crank, pulley and front cover) and used 20 ton of that force to get it off. Make sure it goes in all the way, When placing the seal, try to place it so that it runs on a new non-grooved location on the pulley. Jim
