does anyone know why a super a hydraulic system is slow to lower on right side? up is ok and left lever ok both directions. is there a screen under the head for certain functions? does this more so cold & pump whines when this happens.I m thinking that there are some screens under the head. any help would be appreciated. has been doing this since dad bought it in 1977. dealer replaced pump in early 80s but didnt help much. thanks for any help.

The only filter in a Offset series is a brass screen inside the lower Touch Control housing. Left side of tractor, look for a square with 4 bolts, in the lower half of the Touch Control block.

You must drain the fluid before pulling it out. My 100"s screen had deteriorated and had holes caused by age, and the internal spring rubbing against the brass screen. Took quite a while to find a replacement in better shape.

Left side & right side arms should move at same speed. Probably have some o-rings need replacing in the TC block. That"s a serious job, but do-able.

When I did the TC block on my 100, I found about 1/4 inch of oily mud settled at the bottom of the block. Glad I cleaned that out

CaseIH sells a $120 or so kit for the reservoir, mostly orings and gaskets. Worth the money as for as I'm concerned. Comes with a diagram or you can use the one in the parts book. You can completely disassmble the thing and reassmble, which is not hard, just time consuming. You have to remove the unit from the tractor. As to speed on the right side, it seems a little slower. I just overhauled mine a few months ago. It is still slower to go down as opposed to raising, but is better. The pump will whine when in use, that's ok unless there is a significant whine when not in use. If you are going to do the reservoir, pull the pump and replace the seals/orings and gaskets. The one on the shaft is going to fail sometime and leak oil into the crankcase. Check the shaft for a groove cause by the seal, if bad enough put a speedi-sleeve over the shaft.

thanks for your replies, will get a seal kit coming. i didnt want to disassemble if no parts were available
