Leaking fuel around the top cap where inj.lines are. Can this be repaired in the field without removale of the pump?

I had a leak like that around the big nut on top of the pump.It had a crack in it took it off and replaced it.

If leaking around the cap you will need a new "wedding ring" gasket or new cap also.You should also check the twelve point delivery valve to see if it is loose also. If leaking around head of pump to pump housing you need major repair.
