12 volt flasher in 6 volt service

I'm installing an Arm and Flasher Light from a 12 volt Loboy on a 48 Cub still on 6 volts. Will the light flash on 6 volts?

I have no experience with modern "solid state" flashers. But the older, thermal type flashers are current (not voltage) sensitive. Consequently as long as the amps drawn by the lamp(s) being flashed falls within the working range of a 12 volt flasher, the flasher will work on 6 volts.

So a generic, "2 lamp" thermal flasher (common in most cars more than about 10 years old) will flash a single 6 volt lamp like a #1133 just fine.
