What model tractors were made in Louisville? I know some of the Super Ms were. Were all the Farmall Cubs? What others? Thanks.

Cubs,A B Cs and their decendants such as the 100 and 200 series , the 404 and 504s. All the Cadets were made in Louisville, along with 2414 and 3414 which were completed there. The basic tractor was made in England.
The Texas state prison farm ordered four Farmall LP 504s while I worked there with no 5th gears. Wonder why? Guess they didn't want any escapes. Joe

I often wondered what made a Louisville tractor worth more than another tractor with the same model. Super M is a good example.

Super M is the ONLY example, I guess IH decided they needed more SM's and used the "small tractor" Louisville plant for them. 12541 SM's were built there compared to 52000+ at the Farmall plant. To some people that makes them rare, others insist there are differences. If there are they are minor differences.
