Does anyone have a set of manuals in PDF for the 1206D that they would share? I am so tired of being confused by the way they break them down now days. The old set that dad had he sent with the tractor when he sold it and it was in two binders. one for parts the other maintenance and overhaul. Now it seems as though you have to buy a manual for each system. It really sucks. I am at the beginning of the season and broke and trying to get this tractor in the field. So I would be deeply obliged if someone can help me here. LarryT

you can download parts manuals from external_link You can only download a page at a time but you can print them and it's free.
The manuals were all seperate from about early 50's until the 66 series came out. Some overlapped different models for instance the engine manual covered 806 to 1256, basic hyds seperate manual, power train seperate etc. Air cond covered many models as did electrical. It cut down on the manuals the dealers had to have. Wasn't always the best because it was not model specific.

CNH still owns the rights to all that documentation, no one else *legally* can produce an electronic copy without paying a license fee. I know for sure CNH doesn't produce electronic versions for sale to the general public. Yet.
Owner's manuals are one thing. They're only about 100 pages or so. Easy to scan in an evening on a $39 PC scanner, and produce "bootleg" copies. One can build up quite a library in a few days' time. Everybody's looking for an owner's manual.
