560/706 hood

Do the 560's and 706's have the same shape of hood? I know the length is different, but is the width and height the same? I need to make a longer hood for my 560 project, and 706 hoods seem to be more common and cheaper than 460/560 hoods.

The frame width is the same,but I seem to remember the 560 is wider.Stay with a 560 hood.

A 706 hood is completely different from a 560 hood and will not fit.

Im putting a dt466 in my old 706 gas and it will be longer with that motor.I will be useing a 560 hood because its a longer hood.You will probably have to use two 706 hoods to make one or add to the 560 hood.

so the shape is the same? I have an extra hood, just looking for another to use a section out of to build a longer one.
