Just got this 1206 and Cannot find where to check the hydraulic level. Is there only one service point right under the steering wheel or more than one? Where is the level indicator. My old one had a sight glass. I can't find it on this one. Thank, LarryT

If it is like my 856, you have the 1 filler with attached dipstick in the hole by your right foot, this fills the trans / rear axle housing.

The final drives do not share oil with the rest of the trans / rear axle housing. The final drives have a fill / check plug on the rear of each bull gear housing, about 1/3 up from the bottom. Fill to the plug with hytran.

the dipstick under the'wheel is the only"level checker"...holds around 16 gallons.Buy a book ,NOW.What was your old tractor?A Case?

Thanks so much you all. I would say I love the guys in this group but I don't want to start any rumors. lol LarryT

1568. Picked it up at a estate sale but was way too big and used too much fuel for most of what we do.

Al, when you have an unrelated question, start a new topic by clicking on the "New Topic" button.

My 140 manual says to use CaseIH hytran in the hydraulics and the rear end.
