McCormick 624 4wd with power shuttle year 1967

Have been serching for information on the above but can only find references to 2wd.
We have and use everyday a 4wd model. Was this made in Germany,France or the uk. Has any one else got one?

German IH, lots sold in eastern Canada, can't say I've seen a 4wd 624, but have seen 824 with fwa.

IH had power shuttle / power shift in the 60's but didn't sell it in the US!!!!!!

Hi Karen, never seen a 4WD 624 but plenty of 2WD drive models. Some had Agriomatic-S and others standard transmissions. Made in Neuss Germany with D-206 German Diesel. D-206 also used in UK made 474, 584, 3230.

Hi Karen and Jim, a friend of mine is restoring a two wheel drive 624 at the moment. It came into the UK from a dealer in Colerado so it could Have come from Canada before that. The 523 tractor came to the UK in the late 60s but not the 624 as it would have clashed with the UK built 614 and 634s I have got a 523 in my workshop at the moment overhauling the engine for a customer. If it's of any help, the 4WD model is the same as the 2WD model, except for the mechanical front axle.
