I want to thank everyone on this site who helped me through every part of my first tractor restoration. I really believe that it would not have been possible without the help of all who answered my questions. Sorry about the quality of the pictures I posted, I had to cram it in the shed while it was pouring outside. Ill post better pictures when i can get it out and it dries up. At this point it may be august. This tractor means alot to the family my great grandfather bought it new in 1938.

If he bought it new in 1938 he has to have bought one of the last ones made - they started making F14's in 1938 but I don't know when the change over occurred.

Great looking F-12 nice job. The last F-12 in 38'
was FS123942 Than started F-14 on Jan.27th 1938

Excellent!! If you don"t mind a couple of comments? I didn"t see any controls for the shutters for the radiator. There is a linkage on top of the shutters that is connected to a crank arm that extends back on the right side to the operator position. Do you have that? I also noticed a BIG dent in the brake drum cover. That is caused by the belt pulley being out of round where it mounts to the belt pulley shaft. Those old pulleys would "round" out on the inside and work their way in toward the tractor. And no I am not a "tractor policeman." I offer these as comments only.
