B 275 D batterys and hook-up

help; Need to know what voltage battery is
required and how they are properly hooked-up.

Hi original B-275 Diesels had 2x6V batteries in series with + positive ground. Most owners replaced the 2x6V batteries with one large 12V battery.
Be careful if someone has converted the B-275 from generator to alternator as most alternators are made for negative ground.

Thomas, glow plugs are resistors, so current can flow in either direction. So positive or negative ground no problems for glow plugs and starter will turn in correct direction.
