Hey everyone. I bought my first tractor an f20 last fall. It was restored. While watching my buddy drive it I noticed the right wheel wobbles quite a bit. The tires are basicly brand new. The wheels are spoke. The steering is fine when driving. I would never noticed without me seeing someone drive it. Anyone know what it could be? Wheel bearing? Bad rim? Thanks for any info.

Jack it up to see if the bearing is worn which it well might be. But I'd guess the wheel either has been bent or never was welded straight.

Actually(assuming narrow front) he should be able to run the one "good" tire up on a board and not have to deal with a jack for a quick check. Then spin the suspect wheel and see if it's bent. You should be able to feel a bad wheelbearing that way too. Also grab the top and bottom of the tire and give it a wiggle to further check wheelbearings.

Thanks ron. Ya. Ill run a tire on a board. It is narrow tread. Thanks much. I bought a farm Jack and it doesn't fit between the wheels anyway. How the heck would you Jack it up if you had to anyway?

check the wheel bearings. 2 things it could be. Bearings could be worn out OR they weren't loaded correctly. I have seen where people have installed new races and didn't seat them all the way. When the loaded the bearings first time, they were fine. Ran the tractor for awhile, and the race finally seated, and the bearings were really loose.
