IH Planter Plates for $30 each

What's so special about 2 1964A & 2-1965A IH planter plates. Those 4 plates just sold for $122. on eBay. I have a good collection going and have pd as little as $2.00 and just flat won't pay more that about $15 apiece and only then if I need/want them for a specific crop.

I have seen too on eBay that some planter plates, particularly ones for milo, can bring big money. I have bought quite a few of them for $1 each from used equipment yards then turned around and sold them online for $20-30 per pair. Actually, it seems that people get carried away with a lot of planter related stuff on eBay and are willing to pay far more than the typical "offline" going rate.

If I want something and can't find it anywhere quickly I will pay pretty good money to get it. I figure if I find one cheaper later I will buy it too and have one to sell. That's the way men think. A woman on the other hand will pay $2 for ANY $5 item whether she needs it or not.
