Governor housing speed control lever shaft and matching hole bore are badly worn resulting in inability for speed control. Internal gearing new. Thoughts on repair techniques or source for housing replacement?

I probably have that part laying around. I just last fall built a BA from 2 Bs and an A so have a good number of parts on hand. E-Mail is open

The only things I have been able to think of are welding the hole shut and boring a new one or drilling it out and using a bushing.

I fasten them in the milling machine and bore them with a 5/8 thats undersized then press a 5/8x1/2 brass bushing and they run like a new one again.

The guy that did my B reamed the hole back out round, bushed it, then welded the shaft up and turned it back down.
