Anybody repower a 706 with a 345 V8?

I am kinda thinking about it,wondered if anyone had had any experience with it?Engines are cheap

I saw a picture awhile back of a 706? with a 396 chevrolet in it, so yes, it can be done.

I already knew it could be done.I was really after any helpful hints as far as clutch and flywheel applications

I think it would look good if you used the motor out of a combine. not only would the valve covers say international , you would have upright exhaust manifolds.

because people want 3 prices for used engines,and a 345 is an IH engine,and they are cheap around here,and been very durable in our trucks over the years
