Were all B-450"s diesel? Found one on LP, looks to be added on but want to make sure.

Serial number plate says:
B450RC

I think the serial number on my B450 diesel begins with BD450----- which would indicate diesel. Your LP system appears "add on", but not aware of any gasoline B450's being brought into this country?

I can't recall ever running across an LP gas tractor in the UK. It was usually either straight gas (petrol), diesel, or TVO (tractor vaporising oil) which was run the same way we would kerosene. Sam

After talking with a few people last night I am convinced the motor has been replaced. Not sure what engine just yet but it has a add-on power steering that required the hood to be cut out.

It may be a neat tractor to use, 3 pt hitch, power steering, and not having to worry about parts for the engine.

The Farmall B-450 was only available as a diesel and was sold new in the southern US Memphis District and Texas only. This one would be a field conversion and probably has a USA M thru 450 engine in it, which will fit.

As I remember, the serial number B450RC is correct for the Farmall B450's imported into the US, all of which were diesel.
