The thin sleeve on my 300 rowcrop leveling crank is frozen on the lower section. it was not connected to the top section when Dad bought it 30 some years ago. I messed with it a little with no luck. Thinking of using one of his propane burners for the fish frier to heat it up to free it (it is a pretty long oval one so it should heat the entire thing). Sound like a good idea? I am going to have to re-paint it anyhow from my failed first attempts.

That sound reasonable. heating it to 500 or so is good. making it glow might destroy the steel in the screw. Jim
