Hello. I have heard that some muffers sound more original that other? If so, which one would you recommend. I also need on for my Super C. THANKS ALL

Marks Tractors has the only one--I have not been able to get ahold of him, he does not return my calls, I know he farms full time, but he does not have an ad in the latest Red Power Magazine and I wonder if he is still in business. Someone let me know if they have bought one from him in the last few months. Carter and Grunewald had theirs made by someone else, but no longer sell them because their supplier claims they can't find the materials. OEM Tractor Parts has one with the same dimensions, but the sound is not original. Other than those two, I don't recommend any of them, as to sound. IH tractors used to have a very distinct sound that I have not forgotten.

The OEM one i seen was a Stanley with 1 3/8 outlet no baffle.Last one i got for a C at I-H dealer had a baffle and 2in oputlet sounds good but i still like the original without baffle and 1 3/8 outlet no some like straight pipe go figure.

Opinions differ, I like the original sound. I bought the same one you have from CaseIH for my Super A, it's ok, but the sound is not original. I bought the ones for my C and Super H from Mark several years ago, both sound original.
