Are the injectors from a 706 (D282) the same as the the ones in a 560. I know they are physically the same, but I did not know about pressure settings. My 706 developed a miss and I have some good 560 injectors.

the 560 has an early type and later type injectors.early type has higher pressures and later type has lower pressures. i believe if you use the later type then they should workin the 706.
early- opening pres.1525-1625 minimum 1350psi
late - " " 950-1050 minimum 850psi

might be best to have them bench tested first.

Thanks. My 560 that I have torn down is a 62, so there should be a pretty good chance that it is the latter injector settings.

Usually when a injection nozzle gets so bad that engine misfires , it will also develop a knock. I often just look at the injection pipe near the injector and if it looks like it has been hot that is the bad one. I take line off and spin engine with starter. If pintle has stuck open or fallen out (which they like to do) compression will shoot right back out .A quick check.
