766 remotes low pressure

Had a 766 come in today with hydraulic issues...Seems to be low pressure in the remote circuit..I have had to replace quite a few of the gear pumps behind the mcv (the pump that controls steering, brakes, etc..)on similar models but everything on this one works fine except the remotes...it will just barely raise a disk with the engine at about 2000 rpm....never had this issue on of these...I haven't really looked into it much and do have a manual and all...but was just wondering if any of the gurus here might have had experience with this problem....not sure if there is a relief valve that gives trouble or something of that nature...

simple and overlooked thing to check is the position of the 3 point position lever. If it is in the slow area of the "action control zone" (or the linkages are out of adjustment), it will reduce the output to the remotes.

May not be the problem in your case, but still good to check before tearing things apart.

I have a 1066 that seems to have this same issue. What do you mean by the "slow area of the action control zone" and how is that checked?I have the service manuals and do not remember reading about this.

The 3pt hitch position control lever, Michael.

There's that section down at the bottom that's offset a little. If you put the lever down in there, it will cause the hydraulics to be weak and slow.
