What tractor do I have?

I have a Farmall with a serial # 18673 which may be a Cub.
The hood has 100 on it but the 100 serial # doesn't go high enough.
I need to order some steering parts, but need more information before Spending $$
Can anyone help me find out which model it is?

Can you post a pic? if not go though the pictures on the left side of the page and look though them, and or look up cub, A, etc on Google images. See what you can find there that looks simalar to what you have.

It could be a late 1956 Farmall 100. By looking at pictures you can easily distinguish between a Cub and a 100 and decide what you have.

The BEGINNING serial number for 1956 is 12895 . Yours is only about 600 numbers higher. I'm quite certain IH built more than 600 Farmall 100s' in 1956.

My serial # is 18673 that would make 5778 produced in 56. I can't find anything to show the last # produced. If you have a link for me to look at I would appreciate it.

The tractor belongs to my 93 year old Dad and he lives 125 miles from me.
I just finished restoring his 1947 2n Ford and now would like to start on the Farmall but would like to have more information before bringing it home with me.

Found the info that I needed.
Here is the link.

They built 267 more after my number.

It is a 1956 100.
