How many and what years were the International A I tractors made? Are they rare? Where can i find more info on these?

The Farmall A's were made from 1939 til 1947. Over 117000 were made. There's no breakdown on how many of the AI's were made. The AI's were used by some of the state highway depts and the federal government used them. Most had a foot throttle. Hal

The tractor was an "International A" not an "AI".

You should get a copy of the International Harvester Tractor Data Book by Guy Faye. It has a lot of info on makes and numbers produced, etc. It come in handy.
