560 Dieasel Timing Help?

I had my 560 Diesel pump rebuilt.
I pulled it out at #3 TDC
I gues the rebuilder pulled the shaft to a new degree.
How can i find TDC for #1 Cyl
#1 Cyl is the first by the radiator?
I need some advice.

Timing marks on the crankshaft pulley and the pointer on the front cover.

As long as you did not remove the pump drive shaft from the engine you do not need to have the engine set to any particular cylinder. The pump can only be installed two ways. Just match the dimple on the end of the shaft to the dimple in the pump and you will be on the correct cylinder.

That sounds to easy.
I must of had it right.
Just would not start.
Any ideas restarting with a new huel sustem & hoses.

Try loosening the fuel lines at the injectors and crank it over until you have fuel. with a rebuilt pump there will be alot of air in the system

Another way to prime the system once the pump is on if you have another tractor and somebody to help you is crack all the lines open as mentioned than pull it around to prime the lines, can work much easier and faster than cranking engine depending how long its been sitting.
