i just tried to move my M and she wouln't move or shift i touk out the level plug to check for ice, no ice but the oil looked more like gun grease, i stuck a screw driver in there to see if i could unblok it, but nomatter how mutch crap i dug out no oil came, checked the drane plug and it looked the same, i think i'm going to have to fill it with desel to thin it out enuf so i can drain it and fill it with hy-tran befor i use it this spring.
has anny one seen this, waht do you guys think

I did this a few years ago, and I posted the same question. What I was told is that its ok to do but maybe don't run it to long with the diesel in there. Cause if the seals our old and weak it could cause damage to them. I did it on a cub. I put some in, made a few laps around the yard and it worked good for me.
 
If the water froze, the ice is blocking the drain & nothing can come out.If the tranny is locked up with the ice, you will have to wait for warm weather or put a tarp over it & get it warm enough to thaw & drain.
