More IH 350 questions

My first question is, on the hyd pump is the filler neck for hyd fluid or is it separate from the pump and used as an oil fill? Lastly, how exactly does the touch control work?

The big filler neck by the Hyd pump in the front of the gas engine is for motor oil. the hyd oil fill is a 3/4 or 1" pipe plug plug, slightly up and a little forward of the brake pedals if I remember right. it"s a cast iron reservoir where the hyd pump lines go to, and the hyd control levers, hyd valves and cylinder hose connections are.

touch control - if tractor has a fast hitch you would use the outside lever to raise or lower the hitch. the other one or two levers control remote hyd lift cylinders. the hyd control levers are to the right of the steering wheel above the brake pedals. push forward to raise, pull back to lower.
under the right side hood (there may be a hole on top of hood right side) on each hyd control valve is a 1" shaft sticking up on the top of the valve. it has flats for a 3/4" wrench to turn it about 1/4 turn for single acting (one hose) or double acting (two hoses) hyd cylinder operation.

Since you called it an IH 350, I'm guessing it might be a 350U (utility)? If so, the hydraulic reservoir is the large casting under the seat. The fill port is on the top surface of that reservoir, kind of on the right front part of it. A 7/8 wrench fits it good, take it out and it should have a dipstick attached to it. The one by the hydraulic pump is, as the other fellow said, for the motor oil.
