Farmall I-4

Hello all wondering what a Farmall I-4 is worth good running condition tires arnt much,Not original seat. wondering how rare or vauluable they may be.Thanks For all and any Help

The I-4 is a International (not Farmall) industrial tractor. It is not rare but is not as common as a McCormick W-4 which is the farm version of the same basic tractor. The orchard versions were the McCormick O-4 and the McCormick OS-4 which are more rare than the I-4. Value will depend on location, condition, and how much you want it.

where on this tractor do you see farmall? international and farmall is two diff. animals.

I doubt it's worth much of a premium over what a comparable H is worth. Sure there are less of them but not everybody wants one.

It's kind of a tough call. The I-4 has several things that are different from a W4, such as the rear fenders, optional heavy duty front axle, and the pintle hitch. If the tractor has all of those original items, and they are in good condition, it is worth quite a bit more than a W4 or an H. I hesitate to place a dollar figure on it, but maybe on a good day, $3,000 to $4,000??

I would put way more on it than an H. Maybe just a hair more than a W-4.

I really don't care for standards, since I grew up with row crops--I am NOT criticizing them, as they had their place. The Industrial is somewhat different and more rare. So, the price depends on how bad you want it, and what deal you can make with the seller. It is all in what you want and can afford.

IMHO, rare but not particularly valuable.

There's one that keeps popping up on Craigslist around here from time to time... Looks rough but complete, can't sell it at $1500.

IIRC there was another one, missing fenders, that was around $800. That one might've sold. Haven't seen it in a while.

Personally, I go with the assessment that they're not worth much more than an H in the same condition, if any. $800 on the low end for a running example, up to $4000 for a cherry restored tractor.

Ive got one. Paid 600 bucks for it. Had to have tires, and eventually the engine had to be rebuilt. Its missing the pintle hitch, and I had to replace the hood and grill, not an easy task around here, they just arent any to be had.
