Farmall lights

Could someone tell me the history of the farmall letter series light lenses. Some are ridged on both sides, some on one side, and some have ridges of different directions. I rebuild lights and I am just curious. Thank you.

Ribbed lenses were early. Smooth were late. Sorry I cannot tell you the year of the switch.

Have a decent pair for a Farmall C? Mine are so rusted the rings are falling apart.

I have a Twin-Lenz. Manufactured in Harlan,Iowa. Anyone ever see one of these? Bolted to platform in place of rear light. It can be used as a tail light-work-extension light.Has a flip up red lense. Not many around I dont think. I posted it on Classifieds but they kicked it off.
