806 rear rim color

Is Argent Silver the proper color for the rear rims on my 806, I think that is what I will use unless someone can prove me different?

I don't think IH was using the silver argent when the 806 was built. Most likely they were using plain old aluminum paint.

As I understand it IH did not use an actual paint on theie rims but was actually a type of galvanizing. Many people repaint the rims using aluminum paint. IMO, a clear coat over the top of the aluminum would be worth the money.
