Farmall H Shifter Lever

The end of my 1950 Farmall H"s shifter lever is worn away bad. What are the correct dimensions for the bottom of the shift lever? Can I repair weld it, or do I have to fabricate a steel piece?
Thanks.

You weld it up. Read some of the posts that have come up recently. I have posted the dimensions a couple times last week.

Thank you, I didn't notice your previous mail. Wow, the end of my shift lever is worn down completely, to a nub. Wonder it shifted at all, before it quit.
Thanks a lot.

My H was the same way. It wouldn't go into two gears very often, but it would fall out of the rails and just float around.
From what I understand the dimensions are all the same. When I built mine up I used a TIG welder. It lays such a small amount of material we never even had to grind it.
